The mission of KHRC's Rental Compliance and Housing Preservation Division is to oversee project performance for developments that have received an allocation of Housing Tax Credits, Private Activity Bonds, and/or HOME Rental Housing Development, Tax Credit Assistance Program and Credit Exchange Program dollars. Responsible for the development, implementation and maintenance of policy, procedures and processes, the Rental Compliance Division provides enhanced asset management assistance and monitoring oversight. The compliance team is also involved in budget analyses, reserve draws, leasing and marketing, monthly and annual reporting, project stabilization, project monitoring through onsite reviews, training and technical assistance, conflict resolution, tenant complaints and other work as necessary to ensure compliance with federal and state laws.
